So great to hear from a fellow SelfDesign LC; I’m so glad you found the Joy of Learning Network. We are not currently planning a conference. Our focus these days is on delivering presentations and workshops to parent groups, PACs and teachers. Tina and Dorothy are doing most of the work these days while Cathy and I are serving JOLN in more of a support role. Tina or Dorothy would love to chat further with you about our work. One of them will send you an email to connect. If you would like to talk to me some more, I’d be happy to connect too… I do find this Learning Styles work extremely helpful in working with my SelfDesign learners.

My wish for you and your family would be to have someone sit with your children and translate the questions for them… while they get to sit back and enjoy the process it takes them through :-)
Our next tele-class is scheduled for January 18th through to February 8th, 2011.

I wasn’t able to attend the workshop at Cleveland on Tuesday evening – so disappointed – Lauren and Adam were both sick. I would love to buy the book. Also, there were a few parents who couldn’t attend but would like to know more. Is it possible that we could organize another group for a workshop? Dorli mentioned that there is discussion about you doing a follow-up at the school…but I’m keen to find out as much as possible! Thank you!
