We help students identify their natural strengths and motivators using a web-based learning styles assessment tool. We then use this information to assist students and their parents to build a plan for joyful life-long learning!
In addition, we are building a network of students, parents, counsellors, educators and policy makers through our series of conferences, workshops and educational forums to advocate for diversity in education so that all learners get the support they need to thrive. We believe that when children are given what they need to flourish, families and society benefit from their energy, enthusiasm and willingness to make a positive contribution.
We offer:
- Workshops and teleclasses on Learning Styles
- Consultations and coaching services for students and families
- Presentations to community groups, school PACs, teachers and administrators
- A conference with local experts in the fields of learning, alternative education, and learning support.

Hi Tina,
Thank you for your interest in the Joy of Learning Network’s Discover Your Child’s Learning Style Teleclass.
Our next Teleclass will be in June. The dates are: Wednesdays, June 9th, 16th, 23rd and July 14th from 7:30-9:00pm Pacific Time.
We are also offering a one-day workshop in N. Vancouver on Saturday, May 29th if you’d prefer that format.
